Stitching Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Stitching Operator candidates. The Stitcher/Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating various sewing machines to assemble and stitch fabric in order to create Matouk’s beautiful and beloved collections of bed and bath linens. The stitcher will prepare equipment and materials, read and interpret work orders, and meet quality and production standards. The Stitcher will utilize differing models of sewing machines to optimize manufacturing techniques and quality standards.
Multiple Openings- 1st and 2nd Shift
No English Required

Responsibilities:

• Operate sewing machines of various models to manufacture products in accordance with production requirements and quality standards.
• Read and interpret work orders, production instructions, and specifications while accurately documenting production data and related records.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow production work instructions accurately and consistently.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to distinguish between various shades, fabrics, fabric patterns, and colors to ensure product quality and accuracy.
• Desire to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with coworkers.
• Flexibility to move between different work assignments and production areas as business needs require.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain focus and accuracy throughout the workday.
• Basic sewing machine experience preferred but not required.
