Collections Account Managers – Newark, DE

CoWorx Staffing is seeking energetic Collections Account Managers to join our client’s Recovery Department team!

• Call center environment with multiple schedules available.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
• Two evenings per week until 9:00 PM required.
• Two Saturdays per month from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM required.

Responsibilities:

• Contact customers with past-due accounts to negotiate payments and repayment plans.
• Work the minimum number of accounts per hour as established by management.
• Monitor assigned account queues and follow up consistently.
• Perform skip tracing to locate debtors when necessary.
• Accurately document calls and outcomes in the system.
• Ensure all communications comply with FDCPA and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Escalate complex issues to the Team Lead or Operations Manager as needed.
• Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented call center environment.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident, professional phone presence with strong negotiation skills.
• Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, credit bureau reports, and skip tracing is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
