CoWorx is seeking a CNC Programmer in the Charlestown, NH area!
The CNC Programmer is an independent role responsible for CNC programming, process development, and optimization of CNC manufacturing operations. This position works with a variety of CNC equipment including mills and lathes, uses CAD software and tooling applications. <\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Under minimal supervision, performs varied and complex tasks<\/li>\n
  • Programs, sets up, and operates a variety of CNC equipment<\/li>\n
  • Applies skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area <\/li>\n
  • Adapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and\/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position<\/li>\n
  • May Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish some assigned tasks and goals<\/li>\n
  • Resolves most questions and problems, may serve as a resource on several topics, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels<\/li>\n
  • May orient, train, assign and check the work of other employees<\/li>\n
  • Uses computer-aided software such as CAM\/SolidWorks, Understanding orders of operation<\/li>\n
  • Writes the formulas necessary to program mills and lathes using CAM software<\/li>\n
  • Maintains constant communications with Production and Leadership teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs<\/li>\n
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs<\/li>\n
  • Reduces set-up times and decreases cycle times for maximum efficiency<\/li>\n
  • Designs and develops process aids and fixtures <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\n

Desired Background\/Skills:<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • High School w\/3-6+ years\u2019 experience or AA\/AS\/Technical School w\/1-3 years\u2019 experience<\/li>\n
  • Has developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and on-the-job experience<\/li>\n
  • Completes a variety of atypical assignments<\/li>\n
  • Works within defined processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments <\/li>\n
  • Works with a limited degree of supervision<\/li>\n
  • Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience<\/li>\n
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds<\/li>\n
  • Able to stand for entire shift <\/li>\n
  • Regularly performs repetitive tasks<\/li>\n
  • Regularly possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately<\/li>\n
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
