CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Construction Associate in the Buford, GA area!

This role involves building flooring panels sized 49” x 97”, mounted on ½” MDF. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with saws and flooring materials to produce high-quality components for our production line.

This is a 1st shift position (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM) with a pay range of $20.00–$23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy and precision in cutting, ripping, chopping, and trimming materials to meet required specifications
Perform routine maintenance on saws to ensure operational efficiency and longevity
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work area
Continuously strive to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality in saw operations
Maintain documentation of production activities and quality control measures

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus
Proven experience as a Holzma Beam Saw Operator or similar role in the woodworking or manufacturing industry
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a production environment
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery
Contribution to overall team productivity and efficiency
