CoWorx has partnered with a leading supplier of wireless communications infrastructure and mobile products, who is looking to ad Order Pickers to their team. As an Order Picker in a General Warehouse Support role, you will be receiving and putting away product, as well as handling small parcel shipping, administrative support duties and assisting in the stocking of a wide variety of infrastructure products. You may also be required to prioritize cable cutting, and scrap cable management. This is a temporary to hire opportunity starting at $17 per hour and a potential for an increase in pay once hired on!

Responsibilities:

Unloads inbound shipments, checks inbound materials in, receives material into the prelude system, labels, and puts away materials with a barcode scanner.
Prioritizes the cable cut planning and processing.
Manages the reporting of scrap cable.
Identifies small parcel, full truckload, load small parcel, less than truckload, heavy weight air, will call/customer pickup orders and routes them to the appropriate shipping area.
Process packages via the small parcel shipping terminal.
Sets pickup appointments, loads orders, obtains signatures, and confirms will call orders.
Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the Company.
Display strong work ethic and honesty and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Desired Background/Skills:

1 year of warehouse experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to operate a standard forklift.
Picking and/or Packing experience desired.
Have adaptability and be open to change.
Clock in/out accurately and take rest and meal breaks as required per Company policy.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and reach overhead.
Work in a fast-paced environment with organizational skills.
Experience using a handheld scanner.
Availability to work overtime as required based on business needs.

Other Information:

Flexibility to work between the hours of 8:00am-10:30pm, Mondays through Thursdays are required, as well as available to work overtime when needed. Most days you will be working an 8 hour shift but flexibility is needed!
