Our client in Brentwood, NH is hiring converting operators to their team! This opportunity is direct hire, offers $21/hr +, and opportunity for growth in their expanding business! Operators are critical members of their team. They set up, operate, and tend machines that extrude and coat flat films from synthetic materials.

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, or tend machines such as silicone coaters, auxiliary equipment and coat and convert flat films.
Observe machine operations, control boards, and gauges to detect malfunctions such as roll quality, silicone continuity and dimensional tolerances. Adjust machine controls, tensions, and operational parameters as necessary.
Load materials into extruding and coating machines, by proper weighing, and adjust feed mechanisms to set feed rates.
Start metering pumps and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure continuous flow of silicone coatings.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures to determine correct film production parameters and quality specifications. Record details of machine malfunctions.
Keep machinery and work area clean. Wipe finish rollers with cloths and wash finish trays with solvent when necessary.
Ensure quality of film and raw materials meets and exceeds customer and company standards with training in a lab as a QA tester.

Desired Background/Skills:

Operation Monitoring – The ability to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Operations -The ability to control operations of equipment or systems.
Controls – The ability to adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to precise positions.
Detect Problems – The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
Problem Solving – Identifying problems and reviewing related information to troubleshoot or to alert supervisor.
Coordination – The ability of fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
Be familiar with rulers, scales, gauges, and other measurement tools.
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

Thursday 12AM – 6AM
Thursday – Sunday 6PM – 6AM
