CoWorx Staffing is currently hiring for Electrical Technicians for a client located in Bloomfield, CT!

This is a great opportunity to gain more experience in the Electrical field within a manufacturing environment. The hours are 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, pay is $23/hr. + based off previous experience.

Responsibilities:

Check all work orders, work instructions and job files for accuracy and ensure jobs are sent on time.
Assemble jobs which may include layouts, drilling, tapping, cutting, punching out boxes, securing components, and wiring assemblies.
Building complex electrical cable assemblies including proper crimping, soldering and wire stripping preparation.
Inspect and test all jobs to ensure all components are functioning correctly.
Troubleshoot and correct non-conforming assemblies or builds which may include energizing and utilizing volts meter.
Create necessary documentation for each job, including taking photographs of job and completing all paperwork.

Desired Background/Skills:

Working knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 working environment.
Possess IPC-A-620 Specialist certification.
Possess IPC-A-610,J-STD-001 and IPC-7711 Hand soldering certification.
Must have basic math and measuring skills.
Must have experience with hand tools and power tools.
Must have experience in electrical control and power distribution.
Must be able to read electrical prints and schematics.
