CoWorx Staffing Services has an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support our clients finance team with accounts payable, cash management, and backup accounts receivable functions in Cartersville, GA.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily accounting operations in a growing company.

This is a temp to hire opportunity. Hours are 8:30am-5pm Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices and maintain the accounts payable system.
Prepare ACH, check, and wire payments and maintain vendor records. Experience with International wires a plus.
Record and reconcile daily cash and bank transactions.
Assist with bank reconciliations and cash tracking.
Provide backup support for accounts receivable, including invoicing and posting customer payments.
Assist with month-end close and maintain organized accounting records.
Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Desired Background/Skills:

Must be 18 years old or older.
2+ years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Excel and accounting software (ERP experience such as NetSuite is a plus).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience with GAAP a plus.
