We’re looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Sanford, ME!

The ideal candidate will have experience using hand and power tools (such as screwdrivers and drills), strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet quality and production targets.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:50 AM – 3:10 PM

Responsibilities:

Assemble, sub-assemble, and test BioSafety Cabinets
Read and interpret blueprints, shop orders, and work instructions
Perform leak tests and airflow measurements as required
Conduct final quality inspections for fit, finish, and functionality
Operate hand and power tools, stud welders, pallet jacks, and pneumatic tools
Document test results and generate Unit Test Reports
Meet daily production goals and takt times
Cross-train in multiple areas within the assembly department
Use Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve workflow

Desired Background/Skills:

Be at least 18 years old
Experience using hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, etc.)
Mechanical assembly skills required
Basic electrical sub-assembly skills a plus
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow written instructions and read blueprints
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Reliable, team-oriented, and quality-focused
