CoWorx is seeking Maintenance Technicians in the Slatersville, RI area!

We are seeking an experienced Molding Technician to join our growing manufacturing team on a direct-hire basis. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting molding equipment to ensure high-quality production and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and experienced in the molding industry.

Responsibilities:

Set up and clean molding machines following standard practices, including operation of HMIs, mold controllers, material conveyance systems, water heaters, pumps, and related equipment.
Adjust molding processes—with guidance from a Senior Technician—to ensure products meet specifications (heating, timing, speeds, minor mold adjustments, etc.).
Assist with automation equipment setup such as closing machines, box fillers, assembly machines, picker arms, hopper loaders, lining machines, and diverters.
Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to maintain smooth production flow.
Perform material and product changeovers as needed.
Enter production and process data into ERP systems and required databases.
Train operators and support team members when required.
Communicate process changes, requirements, and issues to other departments and shifts.
Assist in evaluating non-conforming material and participate in the corrective action process.
Work with Engineering and the Tool Room to maintain cavitation standards.
Promote efficient use of material, labor, and energy.
Maintain strong housekeeping practices across the production area.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, documentation, and procedural requirements.
Complete all material and inventory transactions accurately.
Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.

Desired Background/Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the molding industry.
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures.
