Our client in Bergen County, NJ, a leader in high-tech manufacturing, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications.

Shift- 1st

Direct hire opportunity, Competitive salary plus great benefits.

Responsibilities:

Set up CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) by loading programs, adjusting settings, and installing appropriate tools.
Operate CNC machines to perform drilling, milling, turning, and boring.
Monitor operations to detect malfunctions or deviations and make adjustments as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code for accurate production.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Troubleshoot and resolve machine alarms and issues.
Conduct routine maintenance to ensure machine performance.
Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and team members to optimize processes.

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist.
Proficient in setting up and operating various CNC machines (e.g., Haas, Makino, Hermle) is a plus
Strong blueprint reading and G-code interpretation skills.
Knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, and materials.
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments.
