CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our client’s Assembly department in Danbury, CT! This role is focused on driving efficiency, ensuring quality, and supporting team development while meeting production and customer delivery goals.

Responsibilities:

Supervise, coach, and support a team of hourly employees to achieve department objectives.
Plan and prioritize production schedules and customer orders to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery.
Manage workflow through SAP/WIN, including order posting and backflushing.
Coordinate product labeling and documentation requirements.
Oversee employee training programs, performance reviews, and goal-setting in collaboration with management.
Work with leadership to manage department budgets and implement cost-control measures.
Partner with Customer Service to review and adjust schedules based on order changes.
Initiate and assign production or rework orders as needed.
Monitor and ensure accurate assembly, inspection, and packaging of products.
Maintain equipment, machinery, and work areas to support smooth operations.
Conduct capacity and workforce planning to align with production needs.
Track performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Perform inventory counts and cycle checks in line with stock policies.
Promote workplace safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement practices.

Desired Background/Skills:

Associate degree or higher preferred.
3+ years of manufacturing production experience.
3+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Strong communication skills and ability to lead in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Skilled at prioritizing, managing deadlines, and handling multiple tasks with urgency.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
