CoWorx is seeking a Quality Mechanical Inspector in the Merrimack, NH area!

In this role, you will perform detailed and accurate mechanical inspections such as FAI’s, Gage R&R, OQ, PQ, and IQ inspections to drawing requirements.

This is a detail oriented position requiring accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge in the use of computer aided touch probe and optical measuring equipment as well as calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc. is a must.

2nd shift position-flexible to train on 1st

Responsibilities:

Perform dimensional and visual inspections of products using a CMM, optical comparator, calipers, micrometers and other measurement tools to accurately document inspection results per TechNH’s inspection procedures
Write basic CMM programs to measure parts for FAI’s, CPK’s, PQ’s, OQ’s and IQ’s
Perform basic FAI’s and Gage R&R inspections PQ, OQ and IQ inspections
Possess Knowledge of standardized CMM fixturing based on part geometry
Interpret ballooned customer drawings, with basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance
Must maintain an accurate library of programs and written setup instructions for all CMM an OGP programs

Desired Background/Skills:

Proven Mechanical QC Experience
Minimum 1 year experience as a mechanical inspection
Minimum 1 year CMM experience
Ability to create basic programs on CMM and OGP
Basic knowledge of GD&T
Excellent presentation and reporting skills
Experience in QMS/Regulatory
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software
Accurately read and understand blueprints, inspection reports and quality documentation relating to material or products
Must have basic CMM programming experience required with knowledge of Hexagon PCDMIS
Must have experience with optical comparators, tool mics, pin gages, etc.
