CoWorx Staffing is actively seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler for a 1st shift opportunity in the Greater Danbury, CT area. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on assembly experience and a strong commitment to quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Accurately pick necessary parts for production orders.
Assemble, check, and package sub-components and finished products according to work instructions, inspection criteria, and engineering drawings.
Mount items required to complete assembly orders.
Execute special tasks within the assembly process as needed.
Maintain high standards of quality and schedule adherence.
Operate manufacturing equipment and basic electronic test equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and order at workstations, storage areas, and shared spaces.
Participate in temporary assignments across different assembly teams.
Perform computer-based tasks such as order printing, label creation, order confirmation, and tracking.
Coordinate transport arrangements with the shipping department.
Prioritize and organize production paperwork and pick lists based on customer commitments.
Cooperate effectively within the assembly team to meet production goals.
Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Desired Background/Skills:

High School Diploma or GED
Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
Basic computer skills and time management abilities
