Mount Kemble Search Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker / Mechanic for a 2nd Shift role in the Hatfield, MA area. This role is critical to maintaining the electrical and mechanical integrity of the plant equipment and facilities. This is a direct placement role, M – F, 2P – 11P at $25 -$30 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair electrical systems, instrumentation, and control components.
Install electrical equipment, conduit, wiring, and devices.
Troubleshoot and repair plant process equipment, including sensors, switches, photo eyes, and controllers.
Perform welding (TIG, Heliarc), pipe fitting, plasma cutting, and general fabrication.
Conduct general building maintenance and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Use PPE, including respirators, and participate in safety programs (LOTO, Spill Response Team).
Operate forklifts and assist with plant operations as needed.
Work additional hours when necessary to support production needs.

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial mechanical equipment maintenance and repair.
Welding and electrical experience required.
Must hold an electrician license certification.
