CoWorx Staffing is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality organization and drive excellence across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier operations.

This onsite, first-shift direct-hire role in Chelmsford, MA offers the opportunity to shape processes, mentor a growing team, and play a critical role in maintaining compliance and product integrity for complex, high-reliability programs.

Responsibilities:

Provides leadership for the function. Holds regularly scheduled meetings that provide feedback on progress of operations. Continuously coaches and develops employees. Conducts timely performance reviews. Develops, implements, and monitors career path planning for employees.
Provide quality engineering support to manufacturing scale-up activities to ensure that product processes have been developed appropriately and are transferred to manufacturing in accordance with user requirements, plus corporate and regulatory guidelines.
Manages Contract reviews.
Generate and assess quality metrics of trends that affect product quality. Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and various metrics. Establish new metrics when appropriate.
Work with quote launch, risk mitigation meetings to include research and development during new product start-ups to ensure compliance with design controls, and establish key checkpoints for new programs and processes.
Manage and communicate quality data from multiple sources to assist in the risk management and risk-based decision processes to ensure PO compliance.
Manage the corrective and preventive action (CAPA), management review process, and internal quality audit programs
Manage Non-Conforming Material Reviews and MRB activities
Manage supply chain quality, supplier audits, supplier approvals and supplier corrective actions
Manage documentation control and record-keeping systems for engineering documents and company procedures; Includes Environmental control procedures.
Participate in the development of test development.
Manage the calibration activities and preventive maintenance of equipment
Manage the customer complaint handling and investigation process
Manage GIDEP alert process
Develops, implements and monitors company training of AS9100 work instructions
Supports the safety committee
AS9100 certification
Contract review risk mitigation
On time reviews and career development for employees
RMA and MRB timeliness
QBCD elimination

Desired Background/Skills:

• Bachelors Business, Engineering or related field
• Not less than ten years previous experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical problem solving required
• Experience in Total Quality Management and process improvement
• IPC certifications a plus
• Attention to detail
• Ability to drive and visit customers as needed
• Basic math skills
