CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a Step Line Leader in the Winston Salem, NC area!

The Assembly Line Leader position is responsible for overseeing a production line within an Assembly plant, ensuring maximum productivity and quality.

Responsibilities:

Use the Work Order as a guide to understand job requirements and specifications, assign individual tasks, and train and direct the temporary staff accordingly
Set-up or assist with line set-up as needed, using the line diagram
Responsible for inventory control, tracking and reconciliation of customer product, ensuring product is properly placed on the line and kept in good supply as needed for completion of the shift’s production and for the start of the next shift, if applicable
Oversee and monitor production flow on the line, trouble shoot problems, make equipment adjustments as needed, and recommend and institute line improvements
Communicate with the customer on daily operations, safety, and headcount as needed
Ensure that the finished product meets all specifications outlined in the Work Order
Ensure adherence to Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP’s)
Understand and demonstrate safety behaviors and ensure all temporary staff are in compliance with all safety procedures, including maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment and work areas
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by a supervisor and/or customer

Desired Background/Skills:

Applicants must have a resume demonstrating at least five years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably within a warehouse environment.
The resume should also reflect job stability, with a consistent employment history that does not show frequent job changes.
