CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Loan Processor to join our finance team!

This role is responsible for reviewing loan packages, verifying required information, and ensuring all documentation meets established credit policies.

The Loan Processor will work closely with internal teams and external contacts to support accurate, timely, and compliant loan funding.

Responsibilities:

Review loan files to ensure all required documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with credit guidelines.
Conduct verification calls with consumers, dealers, and other third parties to confirm employment, income, collateral, and loan terms.
Convert approved applications into funded loans by completing all processing steps efficiently and accurately.
Communicate professionally—both verbally and in writing—with internal departments and external partners.
Provide support to credit underwriters by gathering information, clarifying documentation, and assisting with follow up.
Participate in testing and feedback for updates to loan origination systems or related software.
Perform additional duties related to loan processing and departmental needs.
May support other departments during non peak seasons.
All work must be performed in accordance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in loan processing, consumer finance, banking, or a related environment.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and credit processing.
Ability to perform standard financial calculations, including debt ratios, payment ratios, and prorated income.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet productivity expectations, and work independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
A credit check may be required, consistent with applicable laws.
