Responsibilities:

• General machine operation, setup and cleaning
• Ability to coordinate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and lab personnel as needed.
• Willing and able to operate multiple machines simultaneously (when possible), once initial training is completed.
• Perform various sheet manufacturing responsibilities
• Shipping preparation and final cleaning
• Sheet measuring using measuring equipment

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience with machine operation
• At least 1 year of experience measuring using digital calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Proficiency in shop math, i.e. conversion between fraction and decimal, conversion between metric and imperial, can work with numbers which have up to 5 decimal places, and can define what a thousandth/hundredth/tenth of an inch is.
• Able to lift at least 30lbs. independently.
