Location: Atlanta, Georgia

CoWorx Staffing Services is searching for Production / Machine Operator candidates in the Norcross GA area.
Responsible for performing work orders according to work order ticket or customer requirements including cutting, gluing, bonding, volcanizing, assembly, packaging etc.
Responsible for setting up, running production machine/equipment and perform maintenance
Actively supports Quality Management System

Responsibilities:

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and work instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform and complete assigned work orders in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Record production data accurately on work orders and report any issues or concerns.
  • Enter production data and labor time accurately into the ERP system.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Identify and report product defects or process issues.
  • Follow production schedules and meet established deadlines.
  • Assist with material handling and inventory management activities.
  • Set up and operate equipment according to work order requirements and established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including daily cleanup and post-production housekeeping.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and productivity enhancements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Operate production equipment such as Flash Cutter, Auto-Bagger, PRECO, SAMCO, and similar machinery to fulfill work orders and customer requirements.

Desired Background/Skills:

  • Must be able to work a full-time weekday schedule on an ongoing basis.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, follow work instructions, and adhere to work processes.
  • Two years of related experience and/or training required.
  • Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude required.
  • Good spelling and proofreading skills.
  • Good technical vocabulary.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • Experience handling CAD files or operating CNC machines required.

Mon-Fri / 8am-5pm
