CoWorx is seeking Warehouse Receivers and Verifiers in the Buckeye, AZ area!
Shift:

  • 1st shift MON – THU 8am – 6:30PM
  • 2nd shift MON – THU 8pm – 6:30AM
  • WKND SHIFT FRI – SUN 6am – 6:30PM

Job Summary: The Warehouse Receiving and Verifier is responsible for checking in all inbound freight, cross-referencing physical items against documentation, and maintaining strict inventory control. This role acts as the first line of defense against product errors, damage, and systemic shortages.

Responsibilities:

  • Unload deliveries: Safely operate material handling equipment to unpack incoming shipments.
  • Verify documentation: Cross-reference physical contents against purchase orders (POs), packing slips, and bills of lading (BOLs).
  • Perform blind counts: Count high-volume or high-value items systematically to ensure absolute numerical precision.
  • Inspect quality: Evaluate incoming materials for physical damage, proper labeling, correct part numbers, and expiration dates.
  • Log materials: Scan incoming items using RF barcode scanners and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP database.
  • Document variances: Formally record short-shipments, overages, or defective goods before signing freight bills.
  • Communicate issues: Promptly contact suppliers or internal purchasing teams to resolve shipment discrepancies
  • Label inventory: Print and apply accurate tracking tags or license plate labels to incoming stock.
  • Stage items: Allocate and route goods to their designated storage bins, racks, or staging locations.
  • Maintain order: Keep the loading dock and receiving zones clean, organized, and fully free of safety hazards.
  • Support audits: Assist with standard inventory cycles, quality audits, and physical stock counts.

Desired Background/Skills:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse receiving, inventory checking, or logistics environment preferred.
  • Software skills: Familiarity with inventory software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) and hands-on experience using mobile RF scanners.
  • Equipment certification: Prior certification or ability to get certified on forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or cherry pickers.
  • Math skills: Strong numerical aptitude to quickly calculate whole numbers, weight totals, and case pack quantities.
  • Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or move continuously throughout an 8-to-10 hour shift.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous eye for noticing tiny discrepancies in serial numbers, labels, or product conditions.
  • Communication: Professional and assertive speaking skills to deal directly with freight drivers and delivery vendors
