Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? We are seeking an AOI Inspection Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in South Portland, ME. In this role, you will use Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment and inspection processes to identify defects and ensure products meet quality and workmanship standards throughout the assembly process.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect products using AOI equipment and verify AOI reports for accuracy.
• Identify defects and collaborate with AOI Operators and Leads on defect analysis and reporting.
• Perform X-ray analysis when required.
• Verify compliance with manufacturing processes, procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Run PCB assemblies through wash processes between inspections.
• Operate Fisnar masking and solder paste machines.
• Maintain and clean AOI equipment and work areas, including routine operator maintenance.
• Use inspection tools such as calipers, rulers, microscopes, and gauges.
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing, electronics, inspection, or quality control experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics is a plus.
• Experience with first-piece, in-process, audit, and final inspections is a plus.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-600, IPC-770, IPC-700, IPC-7711, IPC-7721) is preferred.
• Ability to use measuring and inspection equipment.
