CoWorx is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Specialist to join a leading fiber optic manufacturing team in the Newington, NH area!
This role is responsible for performing complex electro-optical and electrical testing on fiber optic cables and systems throughout the production process.
Successful candidates will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent attention to detail, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
Day shift and Night shift 4 days on 4 days off.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze test data and verify compliance with customer and engineering specifications
• Generate failure reports and document non-conforming products
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools to prepare products for testing
• Follow established quality procedures and testing protocols
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Management, and Customer teams
• Maintain accurate testing records and documentation
• Support process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Follow all company safety policies and report unsafe conditions
• Represent the company professionally during customer visits and audits
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and production deadlines
• Work overtime as required based on business needs
• Perform electro-optical and electrical testing of fiber optic cables and systems

Desired Background/Skills:

• Candidates with related technical backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
• Fiber optic testing, manufacturing, or telecommunications experience
• Data center, cable, telecom, or network infrastructure experience
• High voltage testing experience
• Electrical testing experience
• Electronics technician experience
• Electro-mechanical assembly experience
• Experience working with test equipment, test cabinets, modules, or diagnostic systems
• Manufacturing quality, inspection, or laboratory testing experience

Other Information:

This position offers extensive on-the-job training.
New Quality Specialists do not begin high-voltage testing or certification immediately. High-voltage training and certification typically occur between 6 to 12 months after hire.
All candidates must successfully complete an in-office Electrical and Mechanical Aptitude Test before advancing to the next step of the hiring process. (Passing Score: 70% & Time Limit: 40 Minutes)
