CoWorx Staffing Services has immediate temp-to-hire PIT/Forklift Operator openings with a fantastic, employee-focused client in the Belvidere, NJ area!

Responsibilities:

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, and move products, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.
• Use handheld RF scanners with a high degree of accuracy to track inventory and complete warehouse transactions.
• Load and unload trailers as needed while following established safety procedures and productivity standards.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain an understanding of and comply with Supply Chain quality policies and operational requirements.
• Perform inbound receiving processes, including verifying shipments and accurately processing inventory receipts.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Two or more years of warehouse experience and forklift operating experience required.
• Training and certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights safely and efficiently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull throughout the work shift.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, grasp, and operate tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to work effectively in hot or cold warehouse environments.

Other Information:

Shift Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with an initial 3 to 4 weeks of training conducted from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with leadership and peers.
