CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Quality Inspector in the Mansfield, MA area.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to help ensure our medical device products meet the highest quality standards. In this role, you will inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products using a variety of measuring and inspection equipment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements while supporting a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Use inspection tools such as calipers, digital height gauges, optical comparators, vision systems, and other measuring equipment.
- Follow inspection plans, work instructions, and sampling requirements.
- Properly identify, label, and document inspected materials.
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Collaborate with production teams to support quality standards and resolve issues.
- Review reworked products to ensure they meet specifications.

Desired Background/Skills:
- Four or more years of quality inspection or quality assurance experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Experience using inspection and measurement tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA quality regulations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to access and maintain electronic records.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Medical device manufacturing experience.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Good hand and finger dexterity for handling products and inspection tools.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 45 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to perform close visual inspections and evaluate product quality.
