CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Logistics Specialist in the Phoenix, AZ area. You will be responsible for providing logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting customer needed items such as updates, POD upload, tracking orders, building orders, utilizing API system, and setting appointments in TMS.
• Maintain customer profile information and accurately enter load information from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system.
• Update account managers regarding problem loads, corrective actions taken, and transportation status updates.
• Communicate load status, delays, and delivery updates to receivers and customers as needed.
• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to verify shipments arrive on time and in good condition.
• Conduct driver check calls to confirm load status and expected delivery times.
• Validate load information and supporting documentation prior to marking loads as delivered for accounting and billing purposes.
• Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages, completing all required documentation and reporting.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments while coordinating load activities with customers, carriers, and account managers.
• Accept or decline load opportunities based on direction and guidance provided by account managers.
• Provide detailed directions, routing instructions, and shipment information to drivers to support on-time and efficient deliveries.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Minimum of one year of logistics experience required.
• General knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience preparing routine reports, documentation, and business correspondence.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
