Coworx has teamed up with a Growing company and has some exciting opportunities on 2nd and 3rd shift for Fabrication and Polishing operators. As a Fabrication and Polish Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing precision components that meet the highest quality standards. Payrate offered is dependent upon shift and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with setup and operation of optical fabrication equipment used for grinding, lapping, polishing, beveling/chamfering, and edge finishing.
• Support in-process dimensional and visual inspection using shop-floor tools including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Maintain clean tools, machines, and work areas in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
• Accurately complete production logs, labels, and basic traceability documentation.
• Support team goals for quality, throughput, and on-time delivery.

Desired Background/Skills:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle delicate parts carefully.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic math skills including decimals, fractions, ratios, measurements, and unit conversions.

Preferred:

• Any experience in manufacturing, machining, precision assembly
• Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, or basic inspection tools.
• Familiarity with computers and basic data entry.

Shift Details:

• 2nd shift: Monday- Friday 3:00Pm-11:30PM
• 3rd shift: Sunday- Thursday 11:00PM-7:30AM
