Quality Inspector – Electronics Manufacturing (Direct Hire) Chelmsford, MA | 1st Shift | $60,000–$70,000 per year We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to support a growing electronics manufacturing operation. This is a direct-hire, 1st shift opportunity with a stable organization focused on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet customer, engineering, and industry quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and hands-on experience inspecting electronic and electromechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities:

Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections on in-process and finished products to verify workmanship and compliance with engineering and quality specifications Review incoming work and documentation to determine inspection and production requirements Inspect materials and products, document results, and generate non-conformance reports when necessary Troubleshoot quality issues and initiate corrective actions when appropriate Set up and operate a variety of inspection and test equipment, including pull-test equipment Utilize Bills of Materials, parts lists, and work instructions in the performance of inspection tasks Assist other inspectors on complex or detailed inspection assignments as needed Complete all required quality documentation, including inspection records, non-conformance data, and equipment malfunction reports Log product status and inspection results into computer systems and databases Assist with statistical charting and quality data analysis Participate in Total Quality Management (TQM) and continuous improvement initiatives Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines

Desired Background/Skills:

5+ years of quality inspection experience in an electronics or electromechanical manufacturing environment Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications Experience using a variety of inspection tools and test instruments Proficient with Microsoft Office Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 standards Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy
