CoWorx is seeking Warehouse Leads in the Haverhill, MA area! In addition to daily responsibilities and duties, the Warehouse Lead will support tasks and initiatives of the Receiving, Shipping and Inventory Control Areas. Following shifts are available: A Shift: 6:00am-4:00pm Friday-Monday B Shift: 6:00am-4:00pm Tuesday-Friday

Responsibilities:

Identifies work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow for warehouse associates. When required, prepare written and oral instructions for warehouse associates. Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Work with management and Human Resources to resolve grievances amongst associates. Represent the department and Company in a professional manner where effective leadership in all interactions and communications with warehouse associates, production associates and management is evident. Ensure warehouse associate’s’ productivity and count accuracy meets Company standards. Assist employees with work process problems through effective coaching. Responsible for maintaining and recording inventory, organization and maintenance of the all storage areas, maintain dock area clean and safety sound. Perform safety evaluations on trucks as required and maintains truck battery in operational conditions Adhere to Company Core Values. [/.ul]

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of manufacturing related experience in shipping and receiving Knowledge of the English language with basic reading and writing skills, follow verbal instructions and ability to use simple mathematic Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) Respond to daily workload and its variables with professionalism and effective results Ability to present information and respond to questions from management Ability to operate forklift standup equipment and obtain PIT certification. Train the Trainer certification a plus Ability to perform inventory Ability to work overtime when required and be flexible with schedule changes Solid interpersonal skills Leadership experience a plus Ability to work in cold environment (35-38 degrees) Experience working with scan guns and WMS systems Solid ethical disposition and ability to form business relationships across the organization Solid verbal and written communication skills and 2 to 3 years of relevant experience Ability to analyze, plan and solve problems Ability to execute sound independent judgment and communicate effectively with staff across the organization Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Power Point, Excel, and Word a must Must be detailed oriented, organized and the ability to multitask Promote positive environment and have solid interpersonal skills while adhering to Company established Core Values Spanish language skills a plus but not required Commitment and Accountability to work schedule Food manufacturing environment experience Ability to interpret packing slips as well as acknowledge receipt of the goods into the purchase order
