This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented quality professional with a strong background in electronics and electromechanical manufacturing environments. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet customer requirements, engineering specifications, and industry quality standards through in-process and final inspections.

Responsibilities:
- Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections of in-process and finished products.
- Verify products meet workmanship, engineering, customer, and quality specifications.
- Conduct inspections on materials and components while documenting inspection results and non-conformances.
- Assist in identifying quality issues, troubleshooting problems, and supporting corrective actions.
- Set up and operate a variety of testing instruments and inspection equipment.
- Perform and review pull testing and other quality verification activities.
- Utilize blueprints, engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and specifications during inspections.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, non-conformance reports, and quality documentation.
- Track and update product status within company databases and quality systems.
- Support statistical process monitoring and quality reporting initiatives.
- Assist fellow inspectors with complex inspection assignments.
- Participate in continuous improvement and Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives.
- Follow all safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Desired Background/Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of quality inspection experience, preferably within an electronics or electromechanical manufacturing environment.
- Experience inspecting electronic assemblies, components, and finished products.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 certification or experience strongly preferred.
- Experience using inspection and testing equipment in a manufacturing setting.
