Production Supervisor- Braintree, MA | Full-Time | Exempt | 1st Shift (Typically 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM) $85,000 – $100,000 annually
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within our client’s seafood processing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving production performance, ensuring food safety compliance, and developing high-performing teams in both our Fresh Fish and Frozen Value-Added departments.
Our client is a fifth-generation, family-owned seafood processor and supplier serving retail and foodservice customers throughout the United States, delivering high-quality, sustainable seafood products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Production & Operations

  • Supervise daily production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets
  • Execute production schedules efficiently and accurately
  • Coordinate staffing and workflow to support customer demand
  • Monitor production yields, labor efficiency, throughput, and product quality
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Partner with Planning, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehousing, and Shipping teams
  • Support both Fresh Fish and Frozen Value-Added operations as business needs require

Food Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and USDA/USDC requirements
  • Maintain accurate production and compliance documentation
  • Partner closely with Quality Assurance to ensure audit readiness
  • Address food safety and quality concerns immediately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready facility

Desired Background/Skills:

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing or production environments
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, and food safety regulations
  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on the production floor for extended periods
  • Seafood processing experience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Experience with production reporting systems and manufacturing KPIs
