CoWorx is seeking a Cummins Machine Operator in the Kennebunk, ME area!
The Cummins Machine Operator is responsible for processing small fuel injection parts through cleaning, coating, inspection, and packaging. This role involves operating automated equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring products meet production standards. Training is hands-on and provided by experienced team members and the department supervisor.
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Training is provided on the job by current Cummins department staff and supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Open and prepare small fuel injection parts for processing
• Load parts into cleaning baskets and operate automated cleaning line
• Inspect parts prior to and during placement on coating fixtures
• Load and assist in operating the coating machine (training provided)
• Unfixture coated parts after processing
• Inspect finished parts for quality defects
• Package completed parts according to specifications
• Complete light production paperwork

Desired Background/Skills:

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to read basic work instructions and production documentation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
