CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring 2nd Shift Line Leads in Lithia Springs, GA!

Responsibilities:

• Use the Work Order as a guide to understand job requirements and specifications, assign individual tasks, and train and direct temporary staff accordingly.
• Set up or assist with line set-up as needed, using the line diagram.
• Responsible for inventory control, tracking, and reconciliation of customer product, ensuring product is properly placed on the line and maintained in sufficient supply for current and upcoming shifts.
• Oversee and monitor production flow on the line, troubleshoot problems, make equipment adjustments as needed, and recommend and implement line improvements.
• Communicate with the customer regarding daily operations, safety, and staffing needs as required.
• Ensure that finished products meet all specifications outlined in the Work Order.
• Ensure adherence to Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Understand and demonstrate safe work behaviors and ensure all temporary staff comply with safety procedures, including maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and work areas.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Attention to detail – This job requires careful attention to daily tasks at all times. Quality control is extremely important, and materials must be assembled accurately to ensure a quality product.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be proficient in math, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and manufacturing instructions, procedure manuals, and written directions.
• May be required to write reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups or employees of the organization.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and written directions.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively to adapt to changing priorities.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to successfully motivate temporary staff to ensure production line efficiency and meet production goals.
• Must be able to work overtime as business needs require.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
