CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator | 1st Shift in the Lawrence, MA area. Ready to take your CNC skills to the next level? We’re hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to produce precision parts in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC lathe equipment to manufacture precision parts in accordance with engineering specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Monitor tool wear and make dimensional offset adjustments to maintain product quality and machining accuracy.
• Change inserts, tool holders, and related tooling components while performing machine adjustments as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and other precision measuring instruments to verify compliance with specifications.
• Deburr, clean, and prepare finished parts for inspection, assembly, or shipment.
• Complete inspection reports, quality documentation, and production records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate machining, tooling, and quality issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to company safety policies and procedures.

Desired Background/Skills:

• One or more years of CNC machine operator experience required.
• Experience monitoring tool wear, making tooling adjustments, and modifying offsets to maintain product quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• High school diploma, trade school diploma, or equivalent required.
• Must meet eligibility requirements to work in an ITAR-restricted environment.
