CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a Shipping and Receiving Assistant in Bloomfield, CT! The Shipping & Receiving Assistant will support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, picking and packing orders, inventory control, and organizing materials

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders for daily shipments.
• Assist with picking and organizing parts for orders that are ready for assembly.
• Package orders and prepare them for shipment.
• Ship outgoing orders using UPS WorldShip and FedEx shipping systems.
• Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies and order-related issues.
• Create barcodes and other required labels for customer orders.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy, and put products away in designated storage locations.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and manually when necessary.

Desired Background/Skills:

• 1–2 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with RF scanning and barcoding is a plus.
• Previous experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx, DHL, or freight shipping preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to utilize company and vendor software systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
