Production Manager, Mansfield, MA, $115,000 – $125,000 (based on experience), Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, 100% On-Site
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing operations of a complex FDA-regulated Class III medical device program at our clients Mansfield, MA facility. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity responsible for driving production performance, operational excellence, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives within a growing medical device manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in medical device manufacturing, complex electromechanical assembly, and lean manufacturing principles, along with a proven ability to lead teams in highly regulated environments. The role requires experience with class II or III medical device and electromechanical assembly experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall production leadership focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Lead manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer demand.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives across the facility.
• Partner with Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution.
• Develop, mentor, and lead production personnel while building a high-performance culture.
• Monitor and improve key performance metrics related to productivity, quality, and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485 standards, and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and strategic OEM customers.
• Support manufacturing scalability for growing product demand and future business opportunities.

Desired Background/Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in complex electromechanical manufacturing environments.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device manufacturing, preferably 10+ years.
• Demonstrated experience working within FDA-regulated quality systems and ISO 13485 environments.
• Proven success leading production teams and driving operational improvements.
• Electromechanical assembly experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience with Class II and/or Class III medical devices.
• Implantable medical device manufacturing experience.
• Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
• Advanced Lean Manufacturing expertise.
