CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Production Food Supervisor in the York, ME area. We are accepting applications for a 2nd shift Food Production/Manufacturing Supervisor role in York Maine. This is a F/T direct placement to the client. As the Food Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support production teams to achieve daily production goals, productivity targets, and operational objectives.
• Coach, train, and develop employees to maximize performance, engagement, and career growth opportunities.
• Monitor production schedules, efficiency metrics, production output, and quality standards to ensure operational success.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and workplace safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Monitor staffing levels, attendance, labor utilization, and payroll accuracy.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and operations teams to meet customer demand and delivery expectations.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement, employee development, and operational excellence.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Five to seven years of experience in food manufacturing required.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory, leadership, or team management experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to operate, or learn to operate, material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
