CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a Mold Machine Mechanic Specialist in Smithfield, RI! This is a 1st and 3rd shift, direct hire position offering $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes maintenance mechanic skills to insure that all molding machines and mold support equipment are maintained in good working order, and function safely to design/operating standards.
• Functions: This position performs routine, general maintenance and repair of presses. Included in this responsibility is changing hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical circuits to meet molding conditions.
• Responsible for repairing any hydraulic leaks. In accordance with the preventive maintenance schedule and/or when there is an equipment failure, the incumbent trouble shoots and inspects facility equipment for defects.
• Works with other employees on maintenance repair tasks requiring more than one employee.
• Maintains spare parts inventory, schedules repairs, performs mold changes, and rebuilds valves and pump motors as needed.
• Order parts and supplies as needed. Removes and installs molds as dictated by work orders and production schedules.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Some vocation or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience required.
• Mechanically inclined with great problem solving skills.

Must have injection molding experience.

• Works well independently and with others.
• Good communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
