CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Machine Operator candidates in the Kennebunk, ME area. The OMT/PVD Machine Operator is responsible for operating Optical Monitoring Technology (OMT) and Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) equipment used to apply advanced coatings to precision components. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and strict adherence to process controls, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Operate OMT and PVD coating systems according to established procedures.
• Load and unload parts, ensuring proper placement and handling.
• Monitor machine parameters, coating cycles, and process conditions.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and make minor process adjustments.
• Inspect coated parts for thickness, adhesion, and surface quality.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and cleanroom standards.
• Communicate equipment or process issues to supervisors and maintenance teams.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Prior experience with PVD, vacuum systems, or technical manufacturing preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and process controls.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom or controlled environment.

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Shift Differential: $1.50/hour
