CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Warehouse Receiving Clerks in the South Portland, ME area. The Warehouse Receiving Specialist supports electronics manufacturing operations by managing the receipt, inspection, kitting, and inventory control of incoming materials. This role ensures accuracy, traceability, and compliance with inventory and ESD requirements. The position also provides backup support to shipping operations to help meet customer delivery commitments.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Accurately count, identify, and document materials in ERP or inventory systems.
• Perform kitting, stocking, and material storage in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and lot traceability where applicable.
• Ensure proper handling of electronic components, including ESD compliance.
• Utilize barcode scanners and labeling systems for material tracking.
• Organize and maintain stockroom areas for cleanliness and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Inventory teams to resolve issues.
• Package finished goods to meet customer and quality requirements.
• Prepare shipments using UPS, FedEx, LTL, and other carriers.
• Verify shipping documentation and outbound order accuracy.
• Support shipping operations during peak demand or coverage needs.
• Assist with maintaining shipping supplies and packaging standards.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Two or more years of experience in receiving, stockroom, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, material flow, and receiving processes.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with electronic components and ESD handling practices preferred.
• Experience with packaging and shipment preparation is a plus.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing workloads.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Electronics manufacturing (EMS/ECM) experience preferred.
• Experience with lot traceability and material control systems preferred.
• Forklift or material handling equipment experience is a plus, if applicable.

Other Information:

Location: South Portland, ME
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Environment: Electronics manufacturing / warehouse setting
Reports To: Shipping/Receiving Manager
