CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Custodian in the Plainfield, CT area. The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility environment. This role supports daily operations by ensuring warehouse, office, breakroom, and common areas are clean, presentable, and compliant with safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a professional workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.

Maintain cleanliness of warehouse aisles, loading dockstryways, offices, conference rooms, and common areas.

• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
• Replenish supplies in breakrooms, restrooms, and other common areas as needed.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, walls, and other facility fixtures.

Assist with seasonal cleaning projects and special facility tenance tasks.

• Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages.
• Maintain organized storage areas and ensure walkways remain clear, safe, and accessible.
• Follow all safety procedures, equipment operating guidelines, and company policies.
• Collaborate with facility[/li and operations teams to maintainlean, safe, and professional work environment.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma required.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, facilities, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize daily assignments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products, equipment, and tools.
