CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a Production Lead in New Boston, NH! This job is considered to be a hands-on leadership position in which an individual is expected to provide assistance to the Production Supervisor and perform as a highly skilled laser operator. The individual will work as a part of a defined workstation team, coordinating work activities, maintaining compliance to procedures, performing quality control checks, acting as a technical lead for first level problems, moving product into and out of the work area, assisting with training and assuming a role as a laser operator.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare documents, production sheets, reports, and related paperwork as required by the contracting customer.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and share relevant information with other members of the workstation.
• Motivate team members to perform to the best of their abilities and assign job tasks based on individual capabilities.
• Proactively communicate issues to help minimize downtime whenever possible.
• Demonstrate job duties and observe production team performance to ensure compliance with procedures and safety regulations.
• Encourage production team members to stay on task and consistently meet quality and throughput goals.
• Communicate objectives, expectations, and results to team members on a regular basis.
• Ensure workers have the materials and supplies necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify production counts and record work on daily production sheets, customer databases, or customer profiles while ensuring reports are accurate and submitted on time.
• Coordinate the preparation and shipment of finished goods to contracting customers.
• Keep supervisors informed of contract performance issues, including potential delays that could impact timely completion.
• Communicate worker performance related to quality and productivity to support appropriate recognition and performance evaluations.
• 2nd Shift: Four 10-hour workdays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
