CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a Masker in Amherst, NH!
The Skilled Masker performs operations dictated by specific processes to prepare substrates for Parylene coating, including cleaning, surface preparation, and masking. After the coating process, performs demasking, inspection and packaging as required by the specific processes for the product. The Skilled Masker is able to successfully mask and demask a high number of different products. In addition, may also perform shipping, receiving, fixture refurbishing and other related duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow designated processes, work instructions, Manufacturing Standard Procedures (MSPs), and other written or verbal instructions.
• Clean and prepare customer products for masking and/or coating processes using basic cleaning and preparation techniques.
• Perform masking, demasking, and inspection tasks using specified methods and materials, small hand and power tools, microscopes, and other support equipment.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality compliance.
• Perform fixturing and defixturing of parts and assemblies as needed.
• Inspect, disassemble, clean, refurbish, and/or reassemble coating fixtures as needed.
• Comply with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling requirements when applicable.
• Maintain a high level of punctuality and attendance.
• Operate precision measuring instruments and accurately record results as needed.
• Maintain a high level of personal hygiene.
• Perform tasks in a clean room environment while following required PPE, hygiene, and clean room protocols.
• Perform scheduled clean room maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Adhere to plant and corporate safety policies.
• Properly dispose of, package, label, ship, or inspect hazardous materials or waste in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Assist in other areas and perform additional duties as required by fluctuating business needs.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required, along with a minimum of 1 year of successful Masker I experience.
• Ability to clearly speak, read, and write English for safety purposes.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to communicate basic data, instructions, production results, and quality issues both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods of time.
• High degree of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform precision masking and demasking functions.
• Ability to distinguish between red, orange, yellow, blue, green, and violet.
• Ability to meet required near-vision standards using a Jaeger eye chart, with or without vision correction.

Other Information:

1st and 2nd Shift Maskers ( $17-18/hour with additional $3.00 shift diff)
